school history

The school was placed in special measures in January 2012 and came out of special measures in July 2013. During this period the school has benefitted from good leadership, management and governance; “The senior leadership of the school provide strong leadership with a clear sense of direction and a sharp focus on improving the quality of teaching and learning.” (Ofsted July 2013). Although no longer in special measures, the school continues to be focussed on on-going improvement. In the summer 2013, 96% of our year 6 children met or exceeded national targets for progress over their four years with us.
