work for us

At Smawthorne Henry Moore we offer places to School Direct trainees through the Outwood Institute of Education and Sheffield Hallam University. The trainees are welcomed at two points of the year, September and January and are assigned to class teachers who can support their development towards becoming an effective practitioner. Prior to being placed, all School Direct trainees are DBS checked. Whilst with us, the trainees are inducted to the school through a thorough programme and are welcomed as part of the team.
