We believe that a rich and engaging curriculum is every child’s entitlement so that they enjoy their learning. The children tell us every day how much they love coming to school and feel safe, happy and valued. We have worked incredibly hard to ensure that the provision in our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is fantastic so that children get the best possible educational start in life. Our doors are always open for you to visit us and see our school in action.

Our Academy believes that safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Every member of staff who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play in safeguarding children. In order to fulfil this responsibility, every member of staff is instructed to take a “child-centred” approach, considering at all times what is in the best interests of the child.

Our Academy is also committed to ensuring a culture of safe recruitment and, as part of that, have adopted recruitment procedures that help deter, reject or identify people who might abuse children.
